L’équipe psycho-sociale of S.D. & G. provides core mental health services to francophone children, youth and their families. Referrals or inquiries about mental health services and programs are welcome from parents/guardians, health care professionals and community agencies, schools, the justice system, the Children’s Aid Society, and adolescents over 12 years of age who consent to services. The services provided are funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) and are offered on a voluntary basis.
GIAG operates bilingual youth programs that offer havens for youth and give parents confidence that youth are safe, active & on a positive path. Activities such as sports, cooking nights, social activities, and road trips are offered in multiple locations.

Mental health therapy services are available to area residents, aged 17 and up. These services aim to calm, relieve or remedy emotional and psychological problems such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders and reactions to various traumatic events. Behavioral problems, relationship problems and problems related to adaptive difficulties and stress management are also addressed.
